MRI selection preview system

With NACC's MRI selection preview system, you can get an estimate of the number of UDS participants with MRIs that meet the criteria you define — criteria based on MRI image type, or UDS clinical characteristics of the participants, or both.

Please note that the estimated totals supplied by the MRI selection preview system are not suitable for data analysis or publication. When you are ready to download images for analysis and publication purposes — or if your inquiry requires more detailed information — please submit a custom data request.

CAUTION: The de-identified MRI DICOM files were voluntarily submitted to NACC by the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Centers (ADRC). DICOM files submitted do not have a standard, common format; thus the “metadata” in tags labels and headers will vary in position and may also contain inconsistencies or inaccuracies. Motion and coverage artifacts may occasionally be present despite ADRC efforts to avoid their inclusion. NACC has screened for and removed accidental remaining PHI missed by ADRC de-identification; however, rare, undiscovered instances could potentially remain embedded in metadata. If you note such potential PHI occurrences, please report them to NACC immediately for correction.

PLEASE MAKE YOUR SELECTIONS from the table below. You may specify any of the eight criteria. If no selection is made for a given criterion, the system defaults to include ANY of the options listed for it.
